【摘要】:1.1ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesatestmethodforanacceleratedprocedurefordeterminationofthedimensionalchangeoffabricswhichwillthenbemadeintogarmentsorotherend-usearticlesthatwillbelaunderedinavarietyofsettings.Theprocedureusesanapparatuswithprogrammablesettingsthatsimulatemultipledomesticorindustriallaunderingactionsaswellaswetprocessingoperationsinfabricmanufacturing.Thismethodislesssuitableforheavy,tightlywovenfabrics,suchasdenim,andfabricswithwater-repellentfinish.Thismethodandtheapparatusarenottobeusedtodevelopcarelabels.1.2WhilethisInternationalStandardisintendedtomeasurethesamedimensionalpropertyasinISO5077,itsapplicationisasanacceleratedtestforuseinaproductionenvironment.Itisnotunusualfordifferenttestmethodstoexistfordeterminingthesameproperty.Examplesaremethodsforabrasion,forpilling,andforcolourfastnesstolight.
