【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversageneralclassificationsystemforcrosslinkableethyleneplasticscompounds(Note0).Therequirementsspecifiedhereinarenotnecessarilyapplicableforuseascriteriaindeterminingsuitabilityfortheenduseofafabricatedproduct.Note0Itistobenotedthatthisspecificationdescribesmaterialsthatareavailablecommerciallyintheiruncrosslinkedform.Therefore,theyarecrosslinkablecompoundsdespitethefactthatmeasurementoftheparametersusedfortheirclassificationandspecificationwillusuallybecarriedoutaftercuringhasbeeneffected.1.2Twotypesofcompoundsarecovered,namely,mechanicaltypesinwhichmechanicalstrengthpropertiesareofprimeimportanceinapplications,andelectricaltypesinwhichelectricalinsulatingorconductingpropertiesalsoareofprimeimportanceinapplications.1.3Theparametersusedtoclassifyandspecifythemechanicaltypesareultimateelongation,elongationretentionafteraging,apparentmodulusofrigidity,andbrittlenesstemperature.1.4Theparametersusedtoclassifyandspecifytheelectricaltypesareultimateelongation,elongationretentionafteraging,apparentmodulusofrigidity,brittlenesstemperature,dielectricconstant,dissipationfactor,andvolumeresistivity.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninbracketsareforinformationonly.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section,ofthisspecification:Thisspecificationdoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisspecificationtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note2ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.
